Simply do /buy and a menu will be prompted on your screen. Click on the Pickaxe item labeled, “Exclusive Pickaxes”. You will then be promoted with a list of different pickaxes you will be able to purchase with a certain amount of Bridger coins.

If you walk to the auction house, you can bid on pickaxes people put for auction or you can directly ask in chat if anyone is selling anything and buy it from them directly.

NOTE: THIS WILL NOT GUARANTEE YOU A PICKAXE

Or you can also mine blocks and upgrade it with /pick You can get a really good pickaxe for the start of your adventure, then when you're rich you can buy it like Josh said !
